Yes, 5 stars, it was that good! We're a little late to the game, considering this was our first visit, although they've been open almost one year now. We were headed somewhere else for lunch, but that establishment was closed for a vacation week. Decided to drive down the street into Dayton to check out Rump & Roll. Soooooo glad the other place was closed, this ended up being the best "plan B" decision! We ate in, there are a few tables to dine inside, it was late afternoon , so there was only one other table occupied, it was quiet and cozy. We had the Roast Beef and caramelized onion sandwich, and the House Roasted Turkey Club, along with Tomato soup and Chicken gnocchi soup. Everything was layered with flavor and incredibly delicious. Tavis is the epitome of hospitality, offering taste samples of the various sides available, and answering all of our questions with enthusiasm and enjoyable conversation. We also purchased some of his house ground beef and also goetta. And will have to share an update soon! We'll be back .....and talking Rump and Roll up to all of our friends!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely amazing. My husband had the corned beef Reuben (pictured), and he absolutely loved it. I had the egg salad with tomato bisque, which was fantastic—so flavorful and comforting! The owner/chef was incredibly friendly and personable. He was quick to help, offered great suggestions, and made us feel genuinely welcome. You can really tell there’s pride and care behind the food and the experience. Everything was delicious, the service was wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re down to visit. Highly recommend! ❤️
